Ms. Jones' Classroom Communication Blog for Parents

Hello parents, I would like to welcome you to my blog page for the 2014-2015 school year. This is my first year at Dodger Elementary School and I expect a wonderful and successful school year with your help. I have some great ideas I would like to implement in my classroom this year and I know many of you have some creative ideas as well. This page is a way for me to communicate with you about ideas and plans for this school year. This is not a place to discuss any personal information about any of my students. This is a meeting place for us to organize and plan various activities that will take place this school year.

As you already know, Dodger Elementary School always opens its doors to parent volunteers. I would like to make a volunteer schedule for my classroom. Also tell me some ideas that you may have for this school year. I am always open to ideas.  Please respond to this post by leaving a comment. Don't forget to include your name, child's name, when you are available, and any ideas for the school year. Please respond even if you cannot volunteer. I know that some of you have very busy schedules, but your feedback and communication is very important to me.

I will give you a week to respond back. Then I will put together a volunteer schedule and post it here on my blog page. I look forward to hearing back from you. I know this will be a successful school!

    1. Thank you Ms. Chastain, your help will be greatly appreciated this school year. I always need help making copies and it would be helpful to have a extra pair of hands when our class works on science activities. I look forward to working with you. I will post a schedule on this blog page next week.

  4. Ms. Jones,
My name is Stephanie Cazalas, I am William's mom. I am ready and willing to help however I can. If you need a room parent, I would be happy to take on that responsibility. I think it would be fun to incorporate special projects such as cooking activities or special crafts and I am willing to help with that. Looking forward to a great year!
